Matchday Kit Design

Wimbledon Rebels CC.

A bold neon-led matchday kit concept designed to strengthen Wimbledon Rebels CC identity on and off the field.

Brief

Create a visually striking full match-day kit that reflects the Rebels’ energetic, modern identity while remaining practical for competitive cricket.

Deliverables

Match-day kit design, neon graphic language, pattern development, colour system and presentation visuals showing the concept in garment and real-match contexts.

Outcome

The finished direction gave Wimbledon Rebels a more distinctive matchday presence and a visual system built around confidence, individuality and team pride.

The thinking behind the work.

The project was built around consistency: the visual idea had to hold together across the moments people notice first and the practical assets teams use every day.

Approach

Rather than treating each output as a separate piece, the work was developed as a connected system. That means visual hierarchy, colour, imagery and presentation could support one another and stay recognisable as the project expanded.

Why it matters

Strong creative work is most useful when it can move between channels without losing its identity. The aim was not only to make individual assets look polished, but to make the overall project easier to understand, use and remember.
